Is this connector safe for the power supply on an MK3?

I have an MK3 upgraded to an MK3s.  I've placed it in an enclosure and relocated the power supply to outside of the enclosure, to keep it from overheating.

Removing the printer with the detached power supply is frustrating, so I would like to be able to easily disconnect the power supply from the printer.  Would this connector work?

That is, I want to splice one of those connectors into these wires:

My concerns is whether the connector can handle the current.  Does someone have an idea for a better way to do this?

Best Answer by karl-herbert:

The maximum current flow is about 10A (240Watt, 24V). I would rather use something like that: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32704741297.html (XT40-XT60).

Karl

current

Based on most of what I have read, the printer requires 2.2 AMPs of current.

Connector capacity

No where near enough...

The heatbed alone will require at least 6A @24V, and the hotend  1.7A @24V.

I suggest rating connectors at at least 15A.

RE: Here it is

Thanks, everyone.  Per @karl-herbert's suggestion, I went with these connectors I got on Amazon:

In hindsight, I probably should have used a different connector for the black/white cable, but otherwise it works great.

I went with slightly smaller connectors for the panic but that works.

RE: Here it is

Good job 👍

You could color-code the plugs with heat shrink tubes. E.g. red, black and black/white. The tubes are available in different sizes and colors.
