Is only one needle bearing on bondtech ok?

I lost one of the bearings used with the bondtech gear. My printer is running on the remaining bearing. Is this okay?

You could but I wouldnt do it for long. Only until I got a new one. The pins are to ensure alignment and even wear as well as smooth running. The space created by loss of a pin could create sufficient clearance for another pin to fall out whilst printing.....this time inside the kit and that, if you are lucky, would just be a pig to get out. If you have angered the gods or are low on good karma.....

If you thought you lost one during your initial build, check that one was not already installed.  That seems to be common thing in how they pack them that makes no sense.  But check it.

Sorry. I missread your post. I thought it was a pin from the bearing. You would know if the whole bearing was missing.

I've ordered another bearing. In the meantime, I've been printing and the results don't seem to be too terrible.
