How to make MK3S+ move fast

So, with the MK4 news, and the different upgrade paths, it got me thinking.  No matter what I've done, I've never been able to get my Mk3S+ machines to move very fast.  I'm not talking about printing faster, I mean the actual movement.  I'd love it if it moved faster when not printing, so that there was less time as it transitions between different objects on the plate.

Now, seeing as they are offering a minimal upgrade, which gives you the higher speed printing without changing out the steppers, I'm wondering, how do I get that speed with my current machine?  I know there's no imput shaping, and I'm actually not interested in printing any faster (I'm already at the limit of how fast the hot end will melt plastic reliably), but can you actually get the print head to move at 300mm/s or faster when it's just just traveling?  If you can't do that on the MK3S+, is it the hardware that's limiting it?

And to be clear, I've tried playing around with slicer settings to get it to move faster, but I've never actually seen it move very fast compared to other, "fast" printers.  Maybe there's something I'm missing somewhere that's limiting things?  I've turned off silent mode to make sure that wasn't causing any bottlenecks, and cranked up the speeds everywhere I could find them, but no luck in actually seeing the printer move fast, even just for travel movement.

Thanks for that.  Is this something you can use Gcode commands to override?  I've tried changing the machine limits in the printer settings, but it never seemed to work.  I guess I'm just going to try playing around with it again.  My biggest issue with using bigger nozzles to print is that the movement is so slow, by the time it moves across the plate for the next layer, it either oozes too much, or it oozes just enough that the layer doesn't start perfectly, and I get a gap at the first seam of each layer.  If I can get it to move faster, that would solve some of my problems with bigger nozzle sizes.
