Hot end thermister broken?
Was changing nozzle and pinched the end of the hot end thermister wiring.. When Started up, I got mintemp error for the hot end. Thought I damaged the thermister wiring, so ordered new thermister from Prusa. Installed and still get err mintemp for the hot end. Could I have ruined the board? Is there a reset on the board? I know nothing about electronics. I need help.

I just pulled the same exact stunt. 🙁 No one on chat. Need to know what the current board version is so I can try to find one since the shop is slow.

Bad news, Astounder. The main board fixed the problem. Use an Ohm meter to make sure your heating cart isn't shorted, and same for the thermistor. If you saw 'the light' Like I did, just change the main board, pain that it is.

Where did you get the Mainboard from so quickly, and which version was it!

But my joy was short lived. It will not recognize the difference between a 4.0 and 3.0 IR Sensor, so while it WOULD work, it won't load filament correctly when fed from my MMU2. So back to waiting.
