Hot End heater broken

Hi -

Just got my mk3s for a few weeks and it's been awesome!  But today out of the blue I received a thermal runaway error and the machine wouldn't heat up.  I quickly realized one of the wires leading to the heater (the cylindrical piece the fits in the block - I cannot remember what it is called if it has a fancy name) broke off.  Is that fixable without replacing it?  Or do I need to replace??  Any direction would be appreciated.

RE: Hot End heater broken

If one of the wires has broken off near the heater case, you need a new heater

for the Mk3S you need a 40 watt, 24 volt heater,
Available from Prusa (Expensive)
e3donline, (UK) (Beware the Standard e3D heater has a plug and socket that is supposed to go behnd the heater block, but on the Mk3S, it gets in the way of the X carriage plastic piece) so go to the Prusa Specific Spares section on the e3d online website and get one without the connector
e3d resellers
Ebay,
Aliexpress,
Banggood
Amazon
