Headbed material? What is used as lamination material?

Hi,

does anybody know what is used as lamination on the metal sheet ?

I am looking for a heat resistant (250°) transparent, flexible material for a totally different use. The heatbed just came to my mind as

one side of mine got peeled off, cause I was scratching too much.

thanks

Do you mean the PEI surface? I believe Prusa uses 3M adhesive. I don't think it's rated to 250C.

Yes you are right I had the head temperatures in mind.

@thomas-m83,

as far as I know, Prusa uses 3M 468MP or similar adhesive film. This is sufficiently heat-resistant for the max. bed temperature of the i3 printer (122 degrees C.). I believe the max. Temp. resistance of the adhesive film and the magnetic adhesive is 150 degrees C.
