First Layer Calibration not working 3.13.0. Just me?

First Layer Calibration not working 3.13.0

It asks if filament is loaded, and
When selecting Yes or No, nothing happens.
I have to reset (X) to get out.
Powered on/off also. Still cant use Calibration.

Just me, or is this a bug?
Suggestions to get it working.

Thanks, Mike

Cant get back to the Reset option.

It sounds like it's double clicking, past one of the menu options.
I can hear a double click when I select First Layer Calibration.
Goes right to Yes and No option.

Hi 👋 It is a bug and will be fixed in the next release. Next release is mostly done but is going through verification testing now before official release.

The problem is the LCD won’t leave the menu which is rendering the yes/no choices like its supposed to. So when you select Yes or No, the printer is stepping through the menu again and showing the same message, and this repeats etc.

I restarted the entire calibration from the beginning, to see if it will get past that.

Thanks for the fast response.

Can I load a previous version of the OS until the bug is fixed?

Yes you can downgrade the printer's firmware, 3.11 still seems to be the most reliable version for a standard printer.

Firmware download.

Yikes, I just updated the firmware on one of these in hopes of getting it going and now I hope I didn't make thing worse. 🤣

I also having issues with calibration. The selftest and all passed, it does all the X/Y/Z setup, it loads filament, but that first layer.… I get very thin output, like human hair thin, and very little adhesion to the bed. It is heating, I can feel it. The PINDA sensor isn't at the right offset from the printhead, I think, as it will dislodge the material from the bed. So a couple of questions?

How can I tell the printhead is extruding material in the right volume?

How can I fix the offset between the printhead and the sensor? Everything seems very vague: what I want is "x mm between the printhead and the bed (a credit cars is an acceptable unit) and x mm betwen the sensor and the bed."

This machine is totally new to me, belongs to my school and I was asked to take a look at it: I had an AnyCubic unit for a bit, so I am not totally inexperienced with this. I also am using new filament for it so that should not be an issue.

Yes, Thanks. I did go down to 3.12 and was able to finish my calibration.
Now I can actually print something after having it in storage for 1.5 years.

Updated the MK3 with the latest firmware today. Bug is still not fixed for 3.13.1. I am not able to get past "Is fillament loaded" screen, when i select option "YES", it wont get past, and asks again.
