Firmware update failure (com port)
I'm getting an firmware error when trying to flash over the network to my rpi Prusa mk3s+. I've tried restarting everything and tried multiple times, but no luck. The log is below:

Firmware updates for the MKx series I would execute via PrusaSlicer:

Same here, tried to put on an MK3S via PrusaSlicer 2.5.1 the FW 3.12.2 and caused massive error.
Now on reboot the screen sometimes doesnt show anything and a permanent beep is notcieable .. so guess the FW fried something.
Factory Reset isn´t possible ( https://help.prusa3d.com/article/factory-reset-mk2s-mk2-5s-mk3s_2216 )
BTW: No, nothing on my Laptop has rebooted, no cable where disconnected, everything went normal as the ten times before, exept it didn´t come over the 4%
Any ideas?

No ideas. I didn't even make it to the flash screen on the printer. It just fails in PrusaSlicer when I try to flash. It probably has something to do with the port, but there's no other ports to choose from other than 3.

That's where it fails. I think it has something to do with the assigned port, which can't be changed to any others, because I don't get any indication of a flash on the Prusa screen. It fails in the slicer when trying to connect to it.

Well, after about 25 reboots of the printer and reconnect attempts the Slicer found the printer and was able to put the newer FW on.
The weird thing, I didn´t changed anything in the setup and did any of these steps few times before ... so it leaves an ungood feeling, but it works for now.
Funfact: the loud permanent 'Beep' of the Prusa Mk3S triggered my smoke detector in a strange way, so I got a message on my phone, that I should check my flat for fire or smoke.

It may help if you temporarily disable the Bluetooth interface on the PC and use a USB2 port instead of USB3.

Thank you Karl - I was having this issue.
Turned off the bluetooth on my laptop. Still had the flash error.
Changed USB ports & the flash was successful!
Now to turn the bluetooth back on before I forget why my external speakers won't connect 😀
