XZY Cal is failing, no issues before.

Try checking your PINDA height using the zip tie method.

I get a warning that my printer board has changed and that old settings have been restored. What has happened here? I did a factory reset and the message reappears after a PID tune...

I cannot reproduce the exact warning text in the moment.

I get a warning that my printer board has changed and that old settings have been restored.

Got the same message as well, it's a message about motherboard having changed and settings being reset.

First XYZ calibration failed miserably, with a "calibration point not found" error and some steppers loudly grinding. LCD was left in a "strange" state as well. Next XYZ calibration executed right after went fine. The 'motherboard message did not appear for me after a reboot.

XYZ calibration is failing for me. Nozzle crashes on the front right. New kit builder. With the "grey" pinda probe.

So is it 3.1.4 RC1 or 3.2.0 RC1? I'm confused

Tested on a MK3
- As said before strange alert message about PID and setting reset and Mainboard change.
- XYZ calibration OK but result skew bigger than before (0.05 vs. previous 0.00), faster as advised (>10min) and yes, very close to the bed.
- PID calibration OK (in the previous release sometimes failed)
- Temp calibration OK but is necessary starting with cold (ambient) PINDA. If the procedure start with an already warm PINDA, fails or in another case takes forever. Please let PINDA cool down before starting the calibration. ATTENTION if the calibration starts without the plate on the bed, the nozzle crashes on the bed! It is necessary starting the the procedure with the plate installed and remove it only when requested (Please FIX!).

My xyz cal got super close to the bed. I thought it would rip through the paper (it didn’t). My bed looks unscathed. I haven’t tried a print yet. Has everyone else’s been like this?

MK2S to MK3 upgrade. XYZ calibration fails with 3.2.0-RC1 for me. Most times it would fail on the third point, but occasionally would fail on first point. If I did a factory reset the first point seemed to always work first try, but it would never get past the third point.

Used the zip tie method when assembling, but also lowered pinda a quarter turn to no avail (after the failures).

Reverted to previous version and XYZ calibration worked without issue.

xyz fails ... no problems before
tried couple of times.

best was to complete to point 4, but then "couldn't find calibration point"....

3.2.0 RC-1 the nozzle crashes the bed when calibrating xyz, calibrating z, auto home and calibrating PINDA temp

also the bed and the PINDA does not center on the circles it is shifted to the left and back of center

The Gcode M860 and M861 does not seem to work get error unknown code

I also have had the nozzle crash - but just to be sure: you have installed the MK3 version on your machine? Not the MK2.5 version?

Because I can run the M861 gcode - at least:-)

Regarding the nozzle crashes: it is like the MK3 has forgotten where its calibration points are. Maybe it thinks it is a MK2, which has a different heatbed design.

The printouts are offset 5 mm backward on the Y axis, which is also confirmed by Edward here:
