Filament sensor wiring
Hello,
A question regarding the filament sensor PCB :
Would it be possible to replace it with a simple switch ? More specifically regarding the wiring. Is the actual sensor PCB outputting an analog or on/off signal ?
I've heard so much issues with filament stopping being detected and I've had it once on my second print. As I'm currently planning to print the R3 upgrades, now might be a good time for me to include the switch into the CAD.

You would need to change the firmware
