Failed to add rapido hotend - thermistor connector is wrong.
So, it's been a bad day.
I had my stock e3d hotend removed and my new Phaetus Rapido in place before I figured out that the connector on the Rapido thermistor doesn't match the plug used by the stock hotend. I've seen some remixes on printables.com of fan shrouds for the rapido, so I strongly suspect others are using it. Are there any adapters I can use to get this properly plugged in, or some other fix?

It did not, and it looks like I'm not the only one with issues.
For future generations that may run into the same problem:
- The type of connector you need to connect to the Einsy board is called a "Dupont". If you search on amazon you'll find lots of packs. You want one that comes with a crimper like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R1H3Z8X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- You cut off the old connector, strip the wires, and then follow the crimper directions to attach female ends to the wires, then put them in the 2-hole housing. This will then plug in to the Einsy.
- Except it still won't work because when you try to calibrate it, it fails Z calibration because it's now ~10 mm longer than it used to be.

- In the file 1_75mm_MK3S-EINSy10a-E3Dv6full.h , I changed
#define Z_MAX_POS 210
to be
#define Z_MAX_POS 200
- Deploying this modified version allowed me to finally run through the calibration steps. Yes, you need the full 10mm reduction.
- Don't forget to drop your Pinda sensor.

Hey thanks to your guide I finally have my rapido hotend installed and working. Now I'm wondering what new fan shroud are you using for it. The original one is obviously too high up to be of any use. Could you show me your setup or a link to the fan shroud that you're using?
