Extruder temp problem

Hello all,

I have a strange problem (maybe two independent problems ?!) with my MK3.
When the printer is running and the extruder moves to the left of the heatbed and is at 35 to 38mm of z-height it suddenly stops printing. On the LCD screen the extruder temp is set to 0°C and the status is "heating......." . No error message occurs.

In addition the extruder fan also stops working. I found some issues regarding the extruder fan that the cable might be broken. In fact I can start the fan by moving and twisting the cable a little bit. So that is clear to me and I will replace the fan including the cable.

I do not have a clue about this extruder temp problem. Even if I dont touch the cables and just use "resume print" function, it will start heating and printing again !! (but with a small layer shift in y-axis).
Does anyone have the same issue, or any hints ??

BR,
Henrik

Re: Extruder temp problem

fix the fan, the printer is probably self protecting by stopping the extruder heater!
