Extruder skipping
Lately I experience a problem with a skipping extruder: When I am in Filament Loading mode it will extrude all day with no skipping but as soon as I start to print a model the extruder will start skipping right from the start. However I do not print that fast, I don't think the extruder would have to extrude more while printing than while loading.
The problem has arrived more or less overnight, the feed wheels are clean and I have not changed anything, the printer has printed the same PETG filament successfully so far, and the hotend temperature while printing is 10° higher than while loading.
What do you recommend to look into to solve this?

I have the exact same problem. I have dismantled the entire extruder,and cleaned it all, changed the PTFE tube, new nozzle, cleaned the heatbreak, it is completely clean, when feeding filament its all ok, but when starting to print the clicking sounds starts and no filament is fed. I have exhausted all tips and tricks I have found to no avail....

Wow, birds of a feather! Very much the same thing here with an added twist. It's been several months since I have printed anything due to some medical issues, but everything was working as expected when the last printing was done. Then today when I started a new print my printer was 'crashing' during the bed leveling process. It was mostly on the first pass across the build plate. After tying multiple times that issue seemd to disappear. My filament had just been through my drier (I always dry before attempting to use) and would flow from the noozle when loading just fine, but when the printing started, nada, just a very fine leakage, mostly like string you get when printing with damp filament.
Where should we turn?
Before the health issues I had just purchased a MK4 upgrade kit but have not implemented it. Maybe I should go through with the upgrade and maybe I might just resolve the issue without even knowing what it was. But then I also run the risk of not fixing the problem, compounded my doing somewrong during the upgrade process and making things worse!!
