Experienced users advise before I adjust hotend, heat-break, nozzle

Hi Guys

I need to readjust my heat-break and nozzle in the heat block so I have a 1mm gap between the nozzle and the block (as my filament is leaking) - I also found this video:

BUT I am just looking for any other advice before I do this - things I should know - so I don't screw anything up.

Thanks

The nozzle should NOT be able to tighten flush against the block

The important thing that is often not emphasized enough is that, when you've got everything assembled properly, you should not be able to tighten the nozzle down flush against the heater block. The heatbreak should be in far enough that you can NOT tighten the nozzle down that far. Do that and you should be OK.

Oh, and heat it up first ...

Under-heating for a nozzle change will lead to problems.  Got the full temp for the change.
