"ERROR: PREHEAT THE NOZZLE!"
Lately I'm getting this error, and then I can't leave the error message to go and preheat the nozzle. This only happens sometimes. Suggestions?
Edit: Now it's happening all the time. Printer is unusable.

Once the printer gets to this error message, it freezes up and I can't go back to the main menu. Is this a firmware issue? Busted thermistor?

It sounds like your filament sensor is wigging out. Try cleaning it. Remove the little plug on the top of the extruder carriage and blow some compressed air in there. Just a quick spritz should do it. The error will go away after a few seconds that it doesn't detect "filament" in the bondtech gear housing. If you keep having this problem you should disabled the filament sensor while you look for a fix.

I tried letting it sit and presumably heat up. Getting mixed results. WIll try your suggestion. Thanks.
