still clogged

Hi,

even after unclogging the dragon (coldpulls + material extrusion), the moment when I start printing, it stops printing. Sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 1h.  (1 benchy takes 1h30min).

Right now I am out of ideas of what I could possibly do. I had so many issues with this hotend, and with the printer in general, that I am simply disappointed.

clog

You must have a lemon or there is something different with your setup.  I have one on a Mini and two on Mk3S and I have not had an issue with repeated clogging.  I did have one filament I could not get to print.  I also had an issue printing with that filament on my mosquito.  It printed fine with the V6.  I have no idea why.

I will keep thinking.  Good luck.

did you ever fix this? I put a blower fan onto the heat sink, added copper strips coming out of the heat sink for heat dissipation and im lucky to get through a couple layers,.. It has been a while since you posted anything, so maybe you figured something out?

Hi,

no, I stopped trying to be honest. It was such a headache that it wasn't even funny. I want to print, not to tinker 24/7 with my printer...and sadly I had more issues than success stories for a long time. Nowadays I print with mostly stock (using a volcano mod) and that's it. Print time is still insanely long, but I get quality at least. Don't want to risk either downtime or other 'surprises'.

And if I want something done faster/better..I'll eventually get prusa XL or something similar if I can find and use that instead. I don't want to touch the current printer with mods anymore 😛
