Continuation of "Crash Detected"...

For some unknown reason, everytime I try to add to the previous topic:

  https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-hardware-firmware-and-software-help/mk3s-crash-detected-extruder-seems-to-occasionally-leave-blobs-on-the-object/#post-765703

...I'm shown as logged out.  The last entry was 8/28/2025.  I can't add to the discussion any more, so I had to start this new one.

My MK3S was messing up the prints, so I decided to install the Upgrade from the MK3S to the MK3S+ (which came with the printer, but wasn't installed yet).  This took me about 10 days to install (there were a LOT of other projects going on for me as well...) and it a fairly comprehensive procedure.

Bottom line, I completed the "+" upgrade but I still have problems where the printer is messing up badly.  With the new SuperPINDA sensor, it requires that I re-run the Z Calibration.  The problem is (and continues to be), that as it's running, the filament doesn't go down smoothly all the time and it leaves small protuberances up and the extruder tip hits the next time around and it tears the previous lines off the heatbed.   I end up with a mess and the tip gets loaded with filament.

The printer worked fine for a while (there is a total of 12 days on the printer, per the Statistics) and then a couple weeks ago, it went bad.

I'm at a loss as to where to go next.  ;-(
