Cleaning the print surface
I recently got my Mk3 with the steel sheet PEI surface (not the powder coated). I've read the isntructions, which say to use IPA between all/most prints and use acetone occasionally to refresh the PEI. They also say to not use acetone every print.
Here's my problem: I get very faint marks left on the surface by nearly every print (PLA and PTEG, both). I tried taking a photo, but it didn't come out, the markings are too faint, but clearly there. Slight discoloration exactly where the filament went down. IPA doesn't remove it, no matter how much I scrub (I use a microfiber washcloth). Neither does water and dish soap (using a soft dish sponge, not the scrubby side). The only thing that seems to remove the markings is acetone.
Every print seems to leave these marks, yet I'm not supposed to use acetone every time. What's the answer? Are the marking bad? Do they affect adhesion? Can I ignore them?

I've had the same markings, especially the first PLA print after a PETG would leave quite visible marks.
I have since started to "flush out" PETG remains when switching to PLA. Just say NO a couple of times when the filament insertion asks if it extrudes correctly.
The marks I got, slowly disappeared as I printed new things on top of them.
