Bowden tube is jammed
Hello, after many successful prints on Mk3s, I let the filament run out and my bowden tube is now jammed. The filament is cut off right at the top of the tube. I preheated and took a dental tool right angle probe and reached in the side port and tried to push the filament down but it did not move. What should I do next?

You have two options:
- Disassemble and remove the Bowden tube. You may need a heat gun to remove it. You can find cheaper ones but I recommend one like that one with an LCD to show the temperature. Always use pliers to hold the item you are heating.
- Remove the nozzle and push the filament out while heating. I often disengage the Bondtech gears and use 1.6 mm tungsten welding wire. I heat the hotend up to 20-30 degrees higher than the printing temperature and use the heat of the hotend to soften the filament. Gently push it out.
I hope this helps.

RE: Bowden tube is jammed
Thank you cwbullet! #2 worked for me, Pushing through a wire. I had a nasty jamb from letting filament sit too long in the machine from a run-out and I really didn't want to disassemble and remove the Bowden tube.
