$BOUNTY$ Mk2.5 -> Mk3 firmware

So, I'm a crazy person and upgraded my prusa mk 2.5S+ to a MK 3S+. The connectors on the board of my mk2 were melting and were not reliable, and I did not want to install the same board again, so I decided to try and upgrade to the MK3. A choice I now regret.

I replaced the PSU, the board, the heatbed,  the heater cartridge, the cooling fan. I upgraded to the new mk3 super pinda. I already have the filament sensor with the steel ball.

I flashed the latest MK3S+ firmware (3.14.0) , and had a few issues.

  • The filiment sensor wasnt working, so I had to move the wires around inside the connector, now it functions properly.
  • Apparently the endstops are no longer used, so I removed those.
  • The Y axis motor was moving in reverse, so I flipped that and now it moves properly.

As of now, all the individual systems work. The printer gets to temperature, the extruder moves, the pinda reads properly, and the filament sensor works. But I cant get the printer to calibrate the xyz axis. Apparently the mk3 has a different size printbed to the mk2, so when it tries to calibrate the Z axis, it fails to find the print bed because it thinks the z height is  higher then is actually is. Similar problem with the X axis, it seems to be a different length from what its expecting.

Now, the request. I really don't want to replace the frame. Can someone edit the prusa firmware to change how long the Z and X axis are? I will paypal you $30 if you can send me already compiled firmware that I can flash, and functions properly!

From what I gather, the mk3 is x 255 y 210 z 220 and the mk 2 is x 250 y 210 z 200, so all we should have to do is edit the max X and Z to be 250 and 200. I really dont want to buy a new frame.

I tried to edit the firmware myself but really couldnt get anywhere with it. If anyone has advice on what do edit I can try doing that again myself. Thanks for looking! And thanks for any advice.
