Belt status X help

I have just finished assembling my I3 MKS and after the selftest i checked belt status: "X-202 Y286" so if i understand good it means  i have to loosen the belt, but compared to the Y if is already very loose, so if i do that it jumps up and down when doing the self test the pulley is firmly on the flat part of the motor and the bearing moves smooth.

Any suggestions ?

The numbers are backwards, lower numbers mean the belt is tighter. (Good on you for getting that right the first time - posting for others that might read this).

Also, they're a best-case guess at "belt tension". They are actually measuring the load on the motor, which is also affected by bearings and whatnot.

Basically, check your X axis for rough movement, binding, etc. if the belt is already loose. Many people overtighten the X carriage, so loosen those screws around the bearings a half turn or so and see if things improve.

Or do it my way. The Droop method.

Tighten your belts until there is no visible sag. Call it good.

Chasing those numbers can lead you to belts that are far too tight.

Thanx problem solved, tiny piece of plastic stuck between the bearing
