Bed Leveling Issue
I am having trouble with my MK3S printer. I was having an issue with the extruder not feeding filament during a print. This occurred just after I updated to the latest firmware. I did a reset and tried again but the issue remained. Then things got worse. I went through a XYZ calibration with no issues. Then when I was doing the first layer cal, the extruder found the first two point but then crashed into the bed while approaching the 3rd point. I went through the calibration again, got to the first layer cal and had the same issue of the extruder crashing into the build plate. I check the PIDA probe by pushing the head across the X axis. It seem to read correctly when a metal object was near. Is there anything else that might cause the head to crash?

When you load new firmware, make sure you do a factory reset and clear.
Then start from Self Test.
