Bad port on EINSY?

One of my MK3S MMU2 printers is having PINDA issues - the hot-end has crashed into the board a few times and when I go to 'Support-Sensor Info' the PINDA value stays at 0 (even though the red light turns off), when I place a metal object near the probe.

I thought it was the cable, but when I took a working cable from another MK3S printer I had the same issue. And the "bad" cable works fine in the other MK3S printer. I am running firmware 3.8.0 and tried downgrading to 3.7.2, but still have the same issue.

Has anyone else encountered an issue like this?  Is there another way to test the PINDA port on the EINSY?

With electronic issues, I recommend talking to support. They can step you through it.

Click Estore, then Chat in lower right.

As for I/O ports failing?  Rare, but people are pretty lax on ESD safety when building printers (did you use grounding straps and build on an ESD safe dektop?), so a blown pin is always possible.
