Any Help Would Be Appreciated
Hi,
I am struggling with my MK3s+ printer flashing. I have not used this in a while and I updated the firmware in it PLUS the Prusa Slicer. I also updated the MMU2 software and now I am getting all kinds of issues.
The printer will now says the g-code is incomplete and it is also telling me it is sliced for the wrong printer. I have looked several times in the slicer and it specifically says MK3S+ MMU with a choice of single so I am sure I have the correct set up there. I also downloaded 2.7.2 slicer. One thing I have not done was completely download drivers but the latest firmware I installed was the 3.13.3. I also when back to 3.13.2 with no luck either?
The MMU2 was also updated to the 3.13.3 and the printer suggested that the software was not compatible and I should update the MMU to 3.0.1 which has me really confused. I am quite sure I am missing something but I can not figure out what it is.
Also just wondering if anyone has information on whether it is worth upgrading to a 3.5, 3.9, or 4? Seems a little expensive but if I thought it was worth it I may look into.
This usually means you have accidentally flashed the firmware for the wrong Mk3(upgrade) - or sometimes you have sliced for the wrong one. One catch is that sometimes an old, previously working, gcode, suddenly fails to work - but the user has upgraded in the interim and it needs re-slicing; you *did* keep the source files..?
Cheerio,

Thank you, I tend to agree with you but I am confused for some reason. I think Prusa could do a better job with these upgrades. The MK3, MK3S and the MK3S+ are all the same upgrade correct? I do not see any other options that you can use?

No. Scroll down the downloads page to see the older variants.

I am really confused why this is suggesting that after I download this that it is now slicing for a different printer and will not activate the MMU. I have updated several months ago with no issues and now I am seeing these faults. Also why has the MMU2 jumped to MMU2S? The printer doesn't even see this model.
RE: Any Help Would Be Appreciated
Can anyone help me understand why the 2.7.2 new slicer along with the 3.13.3 firmware keeps telling me I am slicing for a different printer? Isnt the MK3, MK3S, MK3S+ all the same firmware and what is the main difference between them? Also not sure where the updates have gone for the MMU2? Is there a big difference between the MMU2 and the 2S? For some reason I find these Prusa downloads difficult and yet I have zero issue with the XL.
