already at CAD file selecting colours

Hi there,

I am not experienced in more colour printing - that's why I am asking ...

I am just wondering, if some knows a way of selecting certain colours at your CAD System already instead of splitting a stl file into 2 pieces, as I understand the prusa suggestions.

Thanking you

if you can imagine it - if you can design it - you should print it!

How should your CAD system know which color/material is in which slot?

If you are not talking MMU, Prusa Slicer makes it really easy to specify a color change at any given level. Slice your object.

In the preview view, drag the slider down to where you want the color change. Then click the + sign.

thanks a lot.

@ Lichtjaeger I just thought of 2 colors at the beginning - first and second.

@robert-rmm200 running this coordinate system - I believe nearly impossible to adjust it manualy at my intension .. but gives me a better understanding how the system works - THANKS
