After firmware upgrade, resume from pause not possible via printer screen but is via octoprint console
Upgraded to firmware "prusa3d_fw_MK3S_MK3S+_3_13_3_7094" on my MK3S yesterday and went to pause a print to lubricate my printer (very noisy with filling in layers) and when the printer paused, it did not move off the printed part, and after about 3 seconds, the pause went away and there was no resume capability. Using Linux PrusaSlicer-2.7.4.
I usually use Octoprint so went to the octoprint page and was able to restart, resume or cancel the job. I hit resume and it started right up. Wondering why there is no resume capability on the printer control when i paused the job from there. Also wonder why when i paused the job the nozzle didn't move to home vs sitting melting the printed part.
Is this a new bug in the firmware or a problem with the PrusaSlicer not including gcode for what happens when a print is paused (for whatever reason, change filament, lubricating printer, cleaning goobers, ....).
Didn't see a similar issue in search so creating new question. Thanks for your help
RE:
I'm in the exact same scenario, if that means anything. I scheduled a pause in g-code, and I get the resume message on the printer LCD but I can't resume the print (I don't have the option). I DO have the option to stop the print, if that helps with troubleshooting.
I also upgraded firmware via an Octoprint plugin. The firmware I uploaded was "MK3S_MK3S+_FW_3.14.0_MULTILANG.hex" downloaded from the Prusa site.
RE: After firmware upgrade, resume from pause not possible via printer screen but is via octoprint console
I DO get a resume button in OctoPrint now, but it doesn't work. The print does not resume and the printer stays in a mixed printing/not-printing state until I reset it.
