After firmware update, bed jams during initiation and causes a perimeter crashes
I did a print before I did an update and everything worked fine. Once I updated to the latest firmware, during the nozzle clean procedure, the bed doesn't go all the way back and I hear a clicking and whirring. This has never happened before. Due to the bed not going all the way back, the perimeter goes beyond the border and crashes. It recovers and I'm scrambling to remove the nozzle clean line and then it starts printing normally. The bed moves freely back and forth with no issues after the crash. Is this a software issue or maybe a file issue?
RE: After firmware update, bed jams during initiation and causes a perimeter crashes
Had you been printing successfully for some time before the update?
You don’t say which printer you have but be certain you’ve downloaded the correct FW for your printer model and version.
I would re-flash the FW, run a full set of calibrations, then see where you are.
Cheers

Hi, yes I have been printing successfully before then. My apologies, new to this forum, but I have a mk3 and I did download the correct FW. Re calibrating seemed to work, not sure what went wrong there.
Thank you for the help!!!
