For the Prusament, it’s definitely getting frustrating. They said they “didn’t anticipate demand” but really it seems like they were afraid to commit. They ordered a bunch of production lines, then ordered a bunch more. They got a hot product, I’m sure they want the money. The reality of a business like Prusa’s is that there is WAYYYY more money to be made in the consumables. So they will get there.

As others have noted, they're working through the backlog. I've had mine for a few weeks and I was a January 2018 order. I believe they stopped accepting orders with the textures sheets in April, so they're getting closer. Hard to say how long it'll take between filling the backlog orders and offering it in the shop. Presumably, they'll want to build up some inventory.

If the experience with the stickered smooth PEI sheets is any indication, they'll just show up one day. They'll likely sell out quickly, but things will stabilize after a few weeks.

Questions #2 Does anyone know if Prusment will be sold on Amazon in the US on any real scale. It seems like they are missing out on a huge market if they don't work something out with one of Amazon fulfillment centers.

I'm wondering if Amazon is proving complicated to deal with. Prusa did manage to get a reduced shipping rate for up to 2 1Kg spools to the US, so that's good news. Not as nice as prime, but not as absolutely cost prohibitive as $25 shipping.

That shipment of filament from a couple weeks back went on sale today, and sold out already. I think Jo needs to order a few more production lines...

And Im back. Figures I start a thread and then try and rescue my dying 2TB HHD with an SSD. 

Anyway. I really think Prusa needs to work out something with Amazon and its distribution network. Ship over a container and Amazon can handle all the US orders. He's missing on a huge market in the US because of high shipping. 

Textured plate. D**M if I didn't miss getting the voucher by like 6 days. This is my 2nd MK3 I think I should get something for being a repeat customer. 👌 Hell I need to order a 3rd one next month. Maybe it will be in by then. HOPING....

They do that. It just vanishes instantly due to demand... Apparently Amazon also pulls stuff like overselling and putting customers on backorder, so when a new shipment arrives a chunk of it also goes out as already sold.

They also got better shipping prices recently, 3Kg and under now $12 to the US instead of $25.

I knew it. As soon as I turn my back they release the textured plate and it sells out. 

PRUSA I had notifications set to get an email when this was to released. Guess what... NO EMAIL!!!

Prusament Galaxy black is in stock at the time of this post on Amazon.

I managed to buy 2 textured sheets this past Sunday that shipped today.

yeah ive signed up for the email alert and periodically checking throughout the day and Ive not even caught a glimpse of the item being in stock. im wondering if theres someway to queue up for existing customers

If they restock the plates each day at the same time, then you should try around 21:50 CEST. At this time I could order mine.

This is a form of rationing.  I glad I never had to live through WWII.  I could not imagine being rationed for food.
