This seemed like an off the cuff confirmation of the issue, right from Josef.
Don't see it that way. They are developing the printer, they are also making their filament now. There is no surprise that they have a setup there to test the extrusion, not only visually but also more scientific way like pressure, flow, ...
I'm pretty sure they used it before "the issue"TM and still doing it for further development/changes.
