Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.2-FINAL
Is it possible to make a "feature request" for a Slic3r software?
The requested feature is : " Solid first layer" or "brim for inner parts"
Let say, the part to be printed starts as several cylindrical surfaces (like tube inserted into tube) with intervals between.
Sometimes I receive shift of inner part and part becomes broken. I assume if inner part would also have a brim (as well as outer) it can be prevented. Or other option - if the first layer will be solid and serve as a brim for inner parts.

Would that not be a raft?

Oh... Didn't notice it earlier. I'll try it.
Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.2-FINAL
I have a feature request... Relating to MMU2, can we have individual control over the extrusion width used when printing the wipe tower? We could have regular extrusion width on the model being printed, and an increased extrusion width on the wipe tower would extrude more material in a shorter period of time. I would expect the differences to add up to quite an improvement in print times.
Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.2-FINAL
Is this the place to make a "feature request" for a Slic3r software?
Request:
When using the MMU 2.0, have the ability to completely print an object dedicated in a safe zone (so the extruder headed will not crash into the completed printed object) for each extruder before moving onto the next safe zone to completely print another object with a different extruder.
For example: If I have a small cylinder that I wanted to print with each of the 5 different materials loaded into the MMU without switching materials between layers but rather finishing the first object completely with one material, move on the 2nd object with the 2nd material, then the 3rd, etc...
Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.2-FINAL
I am noticing in Slic3r 1.30; that there is "Use Adaptive slicing" with Adaptive quality (with scroll bar for 0 to 100) and Match horizontal surfaces.
Could Prusa add this to the 1.41 version?
Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.2-FINAL
I would like to see, MMU2 status. any errors or why the MMU2 is disabled. selftest?
I have been unable to resolve my issue with my MMU2. All connected and triple checked everything.
On the MK3, it states, MMU N/A?
Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.2-FINAL
Just bought the printer and using this slicer and so easy to control and setup, its great, even I teach my wife how to use 3d printer thanks to this slicer, makes everything better and easier.
changed my nozzle to 0.6 and presets are so good nothing else to do. easy to print.
would you please add 0.8 nozzle settings too, we want to print bigger items faster!
thank you for your efforts for making printing easy and enjoyable!

I just got an epic set of spools of the Prusa Orange and Black Prusament PETG. which option from the materials drop-down list corresponds to this material?

I'm traveling the last few days so I'm not looking at my copy of Slic3r, but I do recall a recent addition of Prusament PETG as an option.
Re: Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.2-FINAL
In all previous versions of Slic3r I've been able to have the horizontal Top Shells set to "0" and it would leave the infill exposed. This is important on this particular project because the part is attached to a device with silicone adhesive and it creates a strong sealing bond. I tried this with .2 Final and it creates the bottom shell and perimeters with NO infill. I had to go back to .1 to get the job done so I didn't get a screen shot of the .2 Final error. Here are screen shots of the settings I use and a screen shot of the part sliced in 1.41.1. I also included the STL file doe the part. Could someone try slicing the file with on your PC with .2 Final and see if your results are any better please. I'd like to verify whether it's .2 Final or just my installation. By the way I tried other infills than just Gyroid and it made no difference.
Thanks Gary
