RigidInk PLA profiles
Hi
Does anyone have any SLicrPE profiles for RigidInks PLAs - I'm playing with various temperature settings as I've had some odd artificts and obviusly RI are very hot on using lower settings - anyone had good consistant results with what temperatures ?
Thanks
J.
Re: RigidInk PLA profiles
When trying new/different filament, the first thing some folks print is a temperature tower, which can help you zero in on the best settings for your individual printer for that filament.
Hope this helps.

Re: RigidInk PLA profiles
I've been using Rigid Ink PLA for a while. I usually use 210 first layer, 205 for the rest of print, with 60c bed.
Re: RigidInk PLA profiles
You might find some useful info in this thread. Rigid.ink materials can apparently be printed at lower-than-typical temperatures for PLA. I've had no issues using higher (~205C) temps, but you may get better results at cooler temps.

Re: RigidInk PLA profiles
Here is my profile for Rigid Ink PLA.
Extruder 180/180
Bed 45/45
Fan 100% - disabled for the first layer
The following is added into Printer settings/custom G-Code before the extruder temperature is set to enable printing below 190C
M302 S170 ; Sets the minimum extrusion temp to 170C
