Replacement screw for the Bondtech gear in i3MK3S+

Hi,

In Step 10 Bondtech gear alignment, we are asked to tighten the screw as indicated by the yellow arrow.

https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/5-e-axis-assembly_169235

From the online store, it looks like I have to buy the entire Bondtech drivegear set to get that small screw. Is there a good alternative, perhaps from a third party company, that works equally well?

RE:

There might be another one in your hardware spares kit, but I can’t swear to that.

Failng that, if no one chimes in here with a source, contact Prusa tech support from the home page of your eshop account and maybe they can steer you in the right direction.

Or you can contact BondTech directly on their website.

You don’t want to use a ball end wrench for final tightening, and you don’t want to over-torque it.

Cheers

Hi, you can use a standard set screw, M3x2 or M3x3 from your local hardware store
