Tracking number here as well. Not heard of any changes do you know if the changes you're talking about the same as klcjr or something else? In any case I'll know soon enough.

I thought they said in the blog that shipping was not entirely by date but date and country.

They did and I believe jzkmath is a Hokie if so we're very close geographically... That being said I got the email and placed the order for my sheet. Happy guy after 14 months of waiting.

You are correct about me being a Hokie! I am a sophomore studying Electrical Engineering.

Also, the PEI sheet is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Out of curiosity, why so long to bring to market? What's your background in powder coating and do you have the process already developed?

It has taken a long time to source materials and competent manufacturers. And yes, it has been developed for a year now to ensure quality.

Our texture is less coarse and we give users the option of specifying a single or double sided coating. 🙂

Here is a MK52 sheet I made today for the Kickstarter. The first photo shows a close-up of the fine, beautiful and uniform texture.

I am surprised there are not more folks joining to buy the kick starter.

A couple of observations as an outsider:

1. It's not clear from the description whether or not you'll deliver in the Prusa form factor with notches etc.
2. The Prusa sheets seem to be printing and are cheaper, at least without shipping included.

My confidence would be higher if I could see more samples & prints.

1. It is specified in one of the Kickstarter updates. We have several MK52 backers already from this. We have since updated the description to include: "If you want a sheet made for a specific model of printer, such as the MK3, you will also be able to specify this."
2. We include shipping cost to any part of the world 😀

I agree. I would liek to see more. Also, what about discount on 1-3 beds?

Can this discussion of a third party bed not be carried out in its own thread? The original discussion has been derailed.
