RE: Need help

Hello. Anyone knows how to get rid off the line on the side of my print? My printer stops here on every layer. What to adjust in slicer?

Best regards

That’s the seam. Every layer has one. It’s where the layer starts and ends. You can change the position with the slicer, on most defaults it usually tries to hide them in the corners. On round objects it can’t do that.  You can randomise the position with or draw exactly where you want them with the seam tool but you can’t get rid of the, on normal objects.

You might want to take a look at OrcaSclicer (a Slicer fork). They implemented something called scarf seams (google it) that can significantly reduce the visibility of the seam especally on round objects.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Find out why this is pinned in the general section!
