help with unboxing assembled printer

Ok, so I just got the printer and I have the dumbest issue. I can't figure out how I remove the white foam under the nozzle. I'm afraid to turn it on for fear it will move the print head and damage the nozzle.

No need to worry. Just turn it on, and you can go through the menu to settings -->Move Axis-->Move Z and then turn the dial clockwise to raise the print head. A shortcut to this is to wait for the printer to initialize and then hold the dial/button in for 2 seconds and it will bring you right to that option ready to move the z-axis. Hope this helps, and you enjoy your new printer.

Turn it on.

Hold down the knob for a few seconds until is displays Z : xxxx on the screen(xxxx is a number, yous should be near 0 as its on the plate) Rotating the knob clockwise will rais the Z axis.

Got it. Thanks. As thorough as the manual is, I was surprised this wasn't covered. I see it later, but when I first opened it, it said to cut the zip ties and remove the foam, and then run a calibration.

Printer is running fine now though and as far as I'm concerned the prints look really good.
