Extruder issues

Can someone please tell me what the stringing at the end of my filaments menas.  I know it has to do with extruding becuase I am having them bad.

My printer decides it wants to print then the next day half-way through a print it stops extruding then I have to spend time lossening the idler then feeding the filament.  Then continually selecting NO on Is filament extruding question on the prusa screen.  Totally disappointed in this printer.

Any help in knowing why my printer is doing and not extruding continually.

RE: Extruder issues

If you give more info, then someone could help.

I printed with my self build 3d printer(mk3) for 15 months, day and night and it worked very good.

@peter-m26

Peter I am sorry the pic did not show up.  Here is the pic.  This is a pic of the filament after it is unloaded.

When I go to load filament it will load and extrude then it will go through the process moving to the front rigtht and ask me to unload filament which I do then I am asked to load filament again.  This time after the filament is loaded no more extrusion and the idler that is movable when you remove the screws does not turn.  the non-accesible idler turns but to get teh removable idler to turn I have to push the filament in and then it will feed the filament.  I have tried loosening and tightening the idler screws at different points to see if I may have it to loose so that it does not enough friction to move the filament, or if I have the screws to tight so that the idler does not produce friction but gets stuck.  But this would not be the case as when I go to unload the both idlers work fine.  I then turned it off then turned it back on and loaded the filament and extruded.  so then I go to print a file and nope it stops extruding and the removable idler stop moving unless i forcefully help the filament down into the shaft.  you can see how bad my sheet is from scratches when my printer decided to get out of a calibration.

Any ideas to fix would help that are going to work.

I'm sad that I cannot get it to work. I already had requests for more face shields. 🙁

RE: Extruder issues

If it goes the front wright, then the printer does not see the filament. I would look in the settings of the printer, and switch of the filament sensor.

The spring you should adjust like in the manual from prusa.

Did you try different filament, higher lower temperature, lower speed.

Search the forum and test, you need to learn, and this takes time.
