best filament guide?
what are your favorite filament guides for the mk3?
Re: best filament guide?
Do you mean for selecting between brands, selecting color or differentiating between the different types of filament?

Re: best filament guide?
I guess i could have been more specific.
I mean to replace the stock filament holder so i can mount a spool on a shelf above the printer with a bearing roller setup and have the filament guide guide it into the extruder.

Ah, OK. 😀 I like this one, but unfortunately the bottom of the frame clip is a bit weak. I'm eventually going to "reimagine" it with a stronger grip on the frame.
This has become my new favorite spool holder. I realized having to take the holder apart to insert axles, or adjust for different spool sizes was a real inconvenience. This one allows me to set any spool size (at least the 200-1000g versions) down and feed reliably and smoothly.

Re: best filament guide?
Thanks for the pointer to the update. I like the design, but it kept popping off on me. Will reprint shortly!

Yeah, I added a little nub to the bottom and beefed it up a bit, FWIW mine hasn't popped off since I added it. I also added step files if you want to improve on it and am open to suggestions as well.

Ah, that's your design? Nice job. I'm printing the tweaked version now. Thanks for your work!
