Inconsistent Extrusion Issue, and a plea for help.

I am suddenly having difficulty with my filament extrusion, below is a live Z adjust test result (currently set at 633 after adjusting, which seems to have helped but i never needed to touch this before), and a Batman logo test that shows my issues-

I am also asking for help in regards to my knowledge regarding well...everything, I want to understand G.codes, Slic3r, anything and everything to do with these printers, and i simply wish I knew "what to look for", what websites, forums or hell YouTube channels are the easiest to learn from?

Forgive my ignorance, I know half of this is the time i can put into all of this (or lack thereof), but I am struggling to find the appropriate places to really grasp and understanding for all of this.

im a 3dpringing newbie myself but it looks like you need to lower the Z offset even more.

I noticed in the manual that it says they set theirs to 644(?), I am not sure if mine was ever set to this or not but it started this issue on it's own.

I'll try setting it to like 640-50 and see how it does.

Every printer will have a slightly different "perfect" value for Live Z calibration... You should have a look at this thread, download the gcode and calibrate your own. This is the best method I've found.

Thank you- I am new to adding Gcode so i'll try this, but do i need Simplify3D?, I just use Prusa Control & Slic3r.

Seems like you did not fully read the instruction on doing the Z-offset. I would start with that. You need to try multiple offsets till you get the right one. And it might change a little every time you move the build plate as its not perfect flat. Check out reddit. The 3dprinting people are very nice and helpful there. There are helpful here to. But most people that come here only are here because they have problems. Many people are there to post more positive things. also google and YouTube are your friends. Use them a lot. If you need more help feel free to ask

If you download that gcode file, you only need to copy it to your SD card and start it on the printer. If you download an stl file you need to slice that in Slic3r or Prusa Control. Sounds like you need some beginner knowledge! None of this is rocket science, but there's lots to learn!

it's not that complicated, there is a routine in the printer to do a first layer calibration. you do not need to change slicers or load special g-code. Just a simple lowering of the z (by moving from -0.644 toward -0.70 for example or even lower)

Live Z adjust and lower your Z until you get a nice first layer. Do not use the Z value in the book, it's only an example. Every time I've torn off my extruder and adjusted my PINDA my Z value has been completely different.

That's all apart of the fun with calibrating your printer.
