Bed dips in center

I have a MK3S+ and am having issues with first layer being squashed around outer edges of the build plate and loose in the center. I think it may have come from some knobs I printed with a captured nut, and I had to press pretty hard to get them in. I have tried the 7x7 leveling and washing my steel sheet with soap and water, but both didn't make a difference.

Is it possible that I bent the bed,  or would it more likely be the rails? I am thinking of getting a new bed to see if this would fix it, and want to get more opinions.

Have a look at the Nylock Mod. Perhaps that can help you.

Before you do anything drastic here's one trick that costs nothing to try:

Remove the print sheet. Loosen but do not release the 4 nuts holding the heatbed.

The next bit is tricky - take care.

Heat the bed to 50 or 60 degrees, wait ten minutes then drum your fingers on it (hot) and run it back and forth a few times; then turn off but while still hot retighten the heatbed screws.

This should take out any uneven thermal expansion. Run your calibrations again and let us know how you get on.

Cheerio,
