Z height is not fixed, it varies every time i start a print.

Hello everyone,

I am new here and I just finished building my mk3s.

I adjusted the pinda probe and did the xyz calibration and it worked fine.

Only every time I start a print I have to adjust the z level because it is off by 300 or so.

One time it is to low and scrapes over the plate, and the other time it is to heigh and it does not stick.

Can someone help me please?

Thank you

Ivv,

Just a shot in the dark.  Did you run the live-Z calibration to completion? If you interrupt the calibration routine before it completes the live-Z value will not be stored in the printer.  Also, the firmware can store live-Z values for up to 3 different build sheets.  You are selecting the correct sheet when printing yes?

Regards,

Steve

@steve_g

Hello Steve

To completion, you mean let it make the rectangle on the end and then it goes back to the home screen. That's what I did.

I do have the right sheet .the z hight varies when I start a new print
