Z Axis Calibration

It seems that my z-axis calibration keeps on failing. I believe I found the problem being that the housing of the hot end is small where it should be covering the whole cooling coil.

Every time I ran the z-axis calibration, it would run all the way up to the top then goes down until the probe senses the heat bed and automatically shoots out a calibration failure warning.

Am I overlooking something? Do I need to ask Prusa to print a new housing for my hotend?

Re: Z Axis Calibration

What are you doing ?

The top of the hotend must be going into the extruder body before mounting the extruder cover.

see https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/5.+E-axis+assembly/510?lang=en

Step 20 & 21
