What’s causing this end of print issue?

This is the second time in a row this has happened at nearly the same spot on my MK3s. Everything else seems spot on! Good first layer and everything. I did notice this spool of PLA was rated at 215-220 and my ending layers were set to 210. I just increased this and hope for the best. Any ideas? I notice the print is no longer stuck to the bed after this issue. I Successfully printed the tall vase on the Prusa memory card, but with different filament..

Your first layer is not great.

If you get your first layer dialled in perfect and the bed is clean then I would try to print again.

There may be other problems but if just looks like it has detached from the bed.

This. Had the exact same effect happen when a similar sized part detached on my bed.

Make sure the bed is spotless (use dish soap and warm water), adjust live Z, and if you still have issues use a brim.

Thanks all! I thought my first layer looked good... should it be more smooth? Less ridges?

Yes, you need to smush the plastic more. There's still too much gap between each trace from the nozzle.

And as a last resort - you can add a brim of 8 mm to help keep the part tacked down.

the best prep for your bed is to wash it with warm water and dawn dish soap (in the UK use Fairy liquid) by using a wad of clean kitchen paper towel dampen with warm water and put a dollop of Dawn on the pad and scrub (i do it twice at 90 deg to each other holding the plate by the edge as it is a phonograph record rinse under running water and dry with clean paper towel keep touching only by the edge... I do this every other day of printing with both kinds of plate.
then set your live z with this method https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting-f62/life-adjust-z-my-way-t2981.html it is far better than the zig zag method in the firmware
