Weird printing issue

Hi,
Any tips, what is causing this?

I printed a lot of things before. But I had Y-axis linear bearing problems, so I switched them a few days ago. I also had to disassemble a bit the extruder, but not completely.
The Y-axis seems smooth enough, I can easily move it.

I suspect you may be suffering from this:

https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/1522

Rumor has it disabling your filament sensor may help.

Holy....!!! You may be right. I totally forgot about that. I updated the firmware yesterday late night... It seems, that one beer was enough to clear my memories. 🙂
Let me try to downgrade then. Thanks!

Ahh, no... I WANTED to upgrade, but somehow I could make the octoprint firmware upgrade working... And I was lazy to go upstairs for a USB cable... So I'm still on 3.5.1. I remember now.

Edit: Ohh, I see, this is not a 3.5.2 problem. He wrote, he had the problem with 3.5.1 also.
So if it is a SW bug, how can I print this stuff? (let me check the related issues...)

Have you tried disabling the filament sensor? There's some suspicion this is the reason for the problem.

I will do that right now. I'm just re-wiring my power supply. (Cables are too short since I put a granite under my printer.)

It seems, it did the trick! Thanks! With disabled filament sensor, I was able to print this.

Re: Weird printing issue

I switched to an indirect sensor mod for the R4 extruder parts with the old sensor; I've no longer had that issue either. 🙂

Indirect sensor? I assume, that is similar design to the mk3s. I ordered it a week ago or so.
This one?

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3431164 actually. No sensor change required 🙂

Thanks! I'll wait for the original upgrade - as I already payed it :). We'll see, how it goes. If still failing, I'll have a backup plan then.
