Very slow nozzle temperature

I just unpacked my Prusa and placed it on the table next to me and unpacked all the foam. It's pretty cold out so I left the printer alone for maybe 30 minutes.  I then read the startup procedure, which I believe I am following.

1. Cleaned the steel sheet with the alcohol pad.  I read a few threads about adhesion and different cleaning methods.  I more interested in getting the printer operational than worrying about bed adhesion.

2. Plugged in the device and powered it on.

3. I did skip the "clean the nozzle" part because the printer came shipped with 8 inches of filament sticking out of the extruder.  I also wasn't sure exactly how to clean it.

4. I then went through the wizard, calibrated z higher and now I'm on warming up the nozzle.  About 20 minutes ago the nozzle temp started very low, single digits.  20 minutes later I'm up to 17/0

The length of time to heat the nozzle might be normal, but it doesn't seem excessive.  Am I ok so far, or should I change what I am doing?

I think my problem is resolved.  I canceled the wizard and was brought back to the same spot.  Once it got there again the nozzle temp went up quickly.  I'm currently printing benchy with the grey PLA that came with the printer.
