Variation in PLA questions
I have mentioned that all of my 3D printing before this MK3 kit was with my Rostock Max V2.5 and on that delta printer I printed ABS only but I printed ABS from about 5 vendors and the results were remarkably similar.
on this MK3 I have so far only printed two different PLAs the spool of Prusa silver that came in the kit and a NOS spool of Hatchbox very glossy PLA produced in 2015 I have had excellent results with both and the Blue is making great structural parts
the parts arr fine except for some print in place models like this Fidget cube

in Prusa PLA it prints just fine and on can fidget away after flexing each joint a few times to free it up but when printed with the same Pretty PLA v3 slice from Slic3r-pr (same Gcode file) with this very glossy Hatchbox it creates a solid block of plastic and using wrenches will free up some of the joints/hinges others will snap the hinge attachments in a few areas.
is this linked to the very glossy almost wet effect of this Hatchbox PLA? Doubtless as I gain more experience with PLA I will learn to modify the Slic3r-pr settings to each individual brand/type of PLA
