Stripped Screw and Stripped Screw hole on extruder

Hi Everyone, I was repairing my Mk3s+ when I accidentally overtightened a screw on the extruder(M3x40). I have managed to get a hex key in and turn it with the screw, but the screw won't come back. It's just spinning in the threads. I have gotten it about 5mm out but not any farther. Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Rocket printer

Option 1) grab it with a pliers and turn while pulling.   2) get a small screwdriver under the head to apply outward force while using the hex key to loosen it further.  3) maybe use something like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YXXZDT9

Thanks for the suggestions. I already tried options 1 and 2, to no effect, so I will try option 3. I exposed the thread on another part but it is not turning even with pliers. I'm not sure if it's stuck or something.

I have tried all methods so this leaves cutting the visible thread with a Dremel and pulling the rest out.
