Stringy First Prints

Hello Everyone,

After assemble, the batarang, whistle and Prusa logo completed successfully. Attempting to print a benchy has failed twice with the below results. Does this require reseting the Z axis (a first layer problem) or some other issue? Can someone suggest a fix?

thanks!

Were you able to see when the problem occurs ? It could help finding the root cause
Try looking it while printing ?

I can not see on your pictures how the first layer looks, so it's not possible to determine if you need to correct the Z level.
But what you should do before continuing the troubleshooting is to wash the bed with detergent and water.
A dirty bed (finger prints) is one of the most common causes of printing problems.

Thanks everyone. I adjusted the z calibration and was able to successfully print benchy. I'm going to start another thread for feedback on the print.
