Some sort of Printing Problem that's Not Build Plate related
Hello all,
I'm new yet I'm not new with 3D printers. I got the Prusa and built it myself, used it for about 2.5 months. For those months it was working great with some build errors (strange extrusion picture) every now and then. But when it happened it was small and usually not an issue.
For about a week and a half I didn't print anything. Stupidly I left the PLA + spool inserted during that time. This resulted in it jamming and I spent a while using pliers to pry the filament out. Afterwards I cleaned it out with the included needle.
Since then, I've been getting problems (as seen in the images) very frequently. I believe there's an issue with the extruder or something, I'm not too sure. I'd just like to have some more personalized recommendations on what to do.
Some things to note:
-I calibrated it perfectly and I keep my build plate clean and everything.
-On the 1st layer picture (with the green PLA +), there's a orange sploch of something. Maybe that's some sort of residue?
-The green filament I've been using, along with the Orange Prusa PETG, have been tried and true filament and they always use to work extremely well 
Let's hope it's not some big issue. I'm a student studying Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, I have enough on my plate already 😢

Agreed, you probably overcooked some filament when troubleshooting and left a fragment or two. A cold pull should clear it.

Looks like clogging to me. If you had a major clogg before, it might still be partially clogged.
Have you done a cold pull already? How did it look like?
Also, some PLA brands tend to clogg more easily than others, if you set extrusion temperature too low (but possibly still within official recommendations. Raising extrusion temperature by 5-10°C can sometimes resolve clogging issues in those cases.
