[SOLVED] middle bolt on x-carriage back doesn't bite into anything
Is it used purely for alignment and not for holding?
I'm referring to "Step 37--Mounting the X-carriage-back" of the "E-axis assembly", where using an M3x10 screw, we are instructed to "start in the middle and ensure proper alignment".
Please advise.

The screw is important as it helps to fix the three bearings.
If the screw fails, you have forgotten to mount the nut on the X-carriage (X axis assembly, step 11)

Thanks! You're exactly right. It was missing a nut.

Hi there, just to say I had the same issue here, I don't know why, I guess I managed to loose it while I built the X axis.
Well, you're not alone pal' 😆
