Right side of print always off
Hello,
I am new to 3d printing. I assembled my Prusa, did a test print, then my first real print.
It seems that the print always messes up on the right side of the object. As if there is some variability (pictures attached)
I rotate the design 90 degrees on the bed (so the print wouldn't reach out as far right), and that fixed the print. However, I still have a problem with prints that extend into that sector of the bed.

Also - make sure you are using the N7 7x7 mesh level, and I strongly suggest the R5 option as well. 3x3 is okay and fast, but misses a lot of the bed. R5 makes multiple measurements per location and averages them: yields a better result in many cases.
Also - those jigs in the print are probably a loose belt drive pulley. Check both X and Y, make sure you start with loose set screws, the gear should be able to spin, then tighten the set screw on the FLAT of the motor shaft, then, tighten the jamming set screw. To remove the gear, loosen the jam screw first or you risk stripping the flat set screw hex.

A bed leveling is necessary for your printer.
Check if the height of the Z-axis left and right is identical. A good guide for the First Layer Z-Adjust can be found here:

Thank you! I did do a Z adjustment, but I do not remember doing a bed level adjustment. I will check to make sure the height of the left and right z-axis is identical, and post my findings here

I did the mesh bed calibration, but this did not help
Is there a better way to test if there is a height difference on different areas of the bed? I have done all the calibration options

Sorry, didn't read @karl-herbert post correctly. I need to do my own discovery for Z-axis and adjust from there

I am going to do the life-z. I missed that in your original post (I should have paid more attention)
I have the after running right now, and will post when it finishes.
Then I will figure out how to perform the life-z.

You were correct. There was a bit of play in the X axis belt drive pulley. I tightened that up and I am about to recalibrate and do the test print

This is after tightening the x-axis pulley. An absolute rookie mistake. I thought that since the belt felt tight enough everything was fine.

Good to hear you're past that hurdle. Before you hit the next one head on, you might try to avoid touching the print sheet so much. Fingerprints will kill prints, and rubbing the fingerprint oil around with alcohol will make your day even more miserable. Best to just keep the print sheet that no-go zone. Handle the sheet only by the edges; never touch the print surface with hands or fingers, and when the cleaning you think works fails, soap and hot water at a sink is best.
